How a registry works, as a project, in five steps: care centres document their practice; data are pseudonymised and the centre remains the data controller; they join a shared registry hosted in France by a certified health data host (HDS); an independent scientific committee validates the research questions; the shared knowledge, publications and common benchmarks, goes back to practitioners.

Why a registry

Intrathecal analgesia has been practised for decades, yet the field still lacks shared data to compare practices and outcomes across centres. A registry would give clinicians and researchers a common reference.

Status
