Become a lead expert
Teams who practise intrathecal analgesia alone in their region or country need colleagues who have met the same situations many times. Thalivia Community is looking for lead experts in every country where intrathecal analgesia is practised.
- Answer your peers
- Reply to the questions of practitioners from other countries, in the topics you know best, as your availability allows.
- Open private threads
- When a case calls for it, open a private thread, visible only to its author and to experts, and retain the answer that settles the question.
- Take part in moderation
- If you wish, help the Thalivia team moderate the exchanges.
- Under your own name
- Members and experts take part under their real name, as healthcare professionals.

Why lead experts matter
Many teams who practise intrathecal analgesia are the only one, or one of very few, in their region or country. Their questions often concern situations that the literature does not settle and that no colleague nearby has met. What they lack most is a practitioner who has faced the same situation many times. Lead experts bring that experience, across borders.
What we ask of you
- Answer questions from peers in your areas of practice, as your availability allows. There is no required frequency or response time.
- Open a private thread when a case calls for a discussion in a smaller circle, and retain the answer that settles a question.
- If you wish, take part in moderation with the Thalivia team.
- Follow the community rules: no identifying patient data, and exchanges that complement the clinical judgement of the practitioner in charge, never replace it.
What it brings you
- Reach among peers worldwide who practise the same technique.
- A network of colleagues in other countries, each with their own rules and organisation of care.
- A direct contribution to the spread of intrathecal analgesia in countries where it remains underused.
Countries and languages
The interface of Thalivia Community is available in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Members can show their country in their profile, so that answers can take into account the context of the person asking. Practices and rules differ from one country to another, and the community is a place to discuss these differences between peers.
